Is there anybody in town or a nearby town?

Tim Driscoll (tim@bigelowcpa.com) of Bigelow & Co. does my taxes. I give him a disorganized folder of stuff and he cranks out the returns. I get a mailing back with stickies saying "sign here", "date here", "enclose check to Commonwealth of Mass for this much", "put into this envelope".

He is in Portsmouth, maybe that is not "nearby". He is right off I-95 before the bridge to Maine.

Isn't it a sad state of affairs when the common person needs to hire someone to do their taxes? It should be real simple, but you need an accountant to figure out depreciation schedules for items if you are a small business, etc. I use Turbo Tax each year, and file it electronically.
