Daylight Savings Time

Postby curt » Wed Apr 19, 2006 11:42 pm

You might have noticed that your postings are time-stamped an hour earlier than the current time.

This started happening when we switched over to Daylight Savings Time earier this month (April 06).

We looked into it and found that the software we use does not support Daylight Savings Time. Thus the postings are stamped with standard time, an hour earlier.

How's this for stupid:

This morning I re-read my message, which I often do for stuff I post late at night.

I noticed the time stamp of 10:42 pm, and said to myself "Gee, I thought I posted this a lot later than that. What did I do between then and 12:15 when I went to brush my teeth etc."

Like duh!!!! :P
