Good to see the Cassella trucks last night picking up recycles. The pick up does however turn Johnson Road into a one way street, with no way for oncoming cars to go past the trucks during pick up mode as the road is too narrow! Now add through traffic from the complex.... hope improvements to Johnson Road are coming.

If they put the cemetary on Frye Rd, there will be gridlock if there is a funeral on trash pick up day at the time of school pickup.

Medicare cuts are affecting long term care facilities. Do you think the facility being proposed here would go through as planned? Granted, what's being proposed is more than a long term care facility, but in the business world, an empty bed is money lost, whether in assisted living, nursing homes, or rehab. Any thoughts?

This facility will be catering to a different demographic. They have a putting green on the facility and it will cost about $9-10K/month.

The wetlands just to the east of the proposed site were affected last week as someone took out two beaver dams, dropping water levels about two feet in each pond. An old tote road off the southern 111 power lines is now walkable without chest waders for the first time in close to 8 years.

Story is a couple local teenagers from Kingston went in with small explosives and blew the dams for fun.

I drove by the site yesterday and noticed a "for lease" sign at the curb cut on Route 111. Wonder if the developer is getting cold feet?

I don't think it is uncommon for a developer to seek out tenants prior to project completion. These have been listed for some time.

Cold feet? No they are probably looking for tenants to fill all the units in the place, as they await for information on $ from State NH DOT. I heard an italian restuarant was in the works for one spot over this weekend.

Frye Road was regraded out to Rte 111. Trees are coming down on the west side of the road on the site.

Two sites having logging going on, no silt fences or errosion control. I know they need less for "logging oerations" but if part of the site construction don't they need some errosion control?

Carriage town news today list the property that previously had the leasing sign up as being up for auction. The map included does a good job of showing where they have recently clear cut. Does this mean the property is not going to be developed right now?
