Did you know that Sheila has yet to produce the long-form of her birth certificate? What are you hiding, Sheila?

Do why don't you ask our ACO if stoning to death an animal is more humane, why was our police chief there helping to do the deed. Wouldn't shooting the animal be more humane???

Yes, this happened this past summer on Farview and the ACO and police chief know exactly who witnessed them doing the stoning, they turned and looked at the kids watching them.

Due to retaliation tactics that would be brought against the kids and their families by both the ACO and police chief, no names will be mentioned here.etocc

The incidents that happened in 2007 have nothing to do with the animal that had been stoned to death, these are totally separate topics.

Thank you,

Reports filed by our ACO and signed off by the police chief are not "wild accusations" these are considered legal documents. Depositions are also legal documents and public information.

Once again JC, why don't you view the information before you back up someone who has the audacity to just enter into someone's home without permission.

Shawn,
You just feel left out as you are usually head BS'er. You're a big boy, read a different topic.

You know Shawn if what Sheila did to me and my family has any inkling what so ever as to why she was fired as the ACO, then to me this has now been worth it.

I would think that you for one would be interested in seeing her filed reports and deposition???

Shawn,
Can the BOS release their copies of PUBLIC COURT DOCUMENTS so that we can read the information from a complete objective source. Until that happens, or I or somebody else finds the time to go to Brentwood and make copies, we will have to rely on people arguing here in SoD to get glimmers of information about TOWN BUSINESS that was adjudicated in court.

I do not wish for you to be amused by my "humor," I at this time am just tired of you and others idolizing our former ACO when in fact she is a person who would go out of her way to deliberately take her position as an ACO to harm others.

Furthermore our Police Chief continued to back her up. Remember our Police Chief hid behind his immunity status and continued to back up Sheila. Funny though, lawsuit gets dismissed and Sheila gets fired!!

Guess our Police Chief is no longer backing her up is he??? Our Police Chief knew the truth all along but fearing his position with the town, he continued with the charade.

You and other have stated all along for me to bring all this information forth to the public and now that I have the time to do so, you seem to be backing off????

Wanda I have never asked you to bring any information forward, I am not interested in any of it. As for defending the ACO I have not said anything that would be considered defending her, I believe the Chief and the BOS made a decision that was best for the town and respect their decision.

I am however tired of your slanderous remarks about our police Chief.

Once again JC for something to be considered slanderous would have to mean it was untrue, correct?? Once again the Chief approved and signed off on all the ACO reports, statements, etc. So if the police chief signs off on something, does that not mean he did not approve it?? Maybe he did not even bother to read the report and trusted the ACO in what she put into her report, regardless though he signed off on them.

As for any other statement I made, why was Sheila still employed until just after the lawsuit was dismissed and then BAM, all of a sudden Sheila is no longer employed.

If Sheila would take Shawn up on his offer of making the information public, then we would all know???

I am willing to bring what I have forth against any comment or statement that I have made. I think everyone should know the truth regarding our former ACO and the Police Chief and what actions they took.

Selectmen Made Bad Decision
The Carriage Town News Wed May 04, 2011, 02:18 PM EDT

To the editor:

I was shocked to learn that the Danville Board of Selectmen did not reappoint Sheila Johannesen to the Animal Control Officer position that she has held for seven years! How in the world could this decision possibly be in the best interests of the Town?

It certainly couldn't have been for job performance or budgetary reasons. Sheila's vigorous enforcement of state-required license laws more than pays for her salary. In fact, Sheila's hard work and devotion to her job has always been above and beyond the call of duty. When the Town wouldn't pay for adequate training, Sheila applied for scholarships and was able to attend at no cost to the Town. When the Town wouldn't give her a town vehicle so that she wouldn't have to use her own personal vehicle to transport lost pets, Sheila was able to solicit and obtain a donated vehicle at no cost to the Town. Having a limited budget that wouldn't pay for adequate equipment, Sheila worked at obtaining equipment donations. In fact, she was able to get pet resuscitation equipment donated to the Town's Fire Department, again, at no cost to the Town.

In addition, Sheila started a non profit organization called the Danville RAINBOW Association (Rescuing Animals in Need by Offering Welfare), the main purpose of which was to help offset expenditures within the Animal Control Department. Sheila raised funds for this organization through donations, bake sales, annual low cost rabies clinics for persons who couldn't afford veterinary visits and other fundraising events. For all of us in Town who have ever panicked over a lot pet, Sheila has always been there for us and worked however long it took to find and return our beloved pets to their homes. For those pets who never found their way home, Sheila always found them another one.

The decision not to reappoint Sheila as ACO was an incredibly bad one that flies in the face of any kind of reasoning whatsoever! It should certainly make everyone in Danville want to question the Selectmen's judgment regarding other decisions that they are making in the so called "best interests of the Town." Keep this in mind during the next election.

Shelia,
Now I think you must return the favor to your side kick Laura and write a Letter to the Editor stating how the Board made a bad decision not reappointing Laura to the Conservation Board as an Alternate over Phil Emilio. The more you push the issue of the ACO not being reappointed yet hold the keys to the public knowing the reasoning behind the denial speaks volume. Request the meeting unless your afraid of a Tom Jr. "Candidate's Night" moment once the information is disclosed. The Board does their homework! I look forward to the disclosure. That is if you choose to request it.

Still drunk off the excitement you had that night, Shawn? I was sworn in yesterday. I think you were the only one who thought that was "damning" evidence. Small victories for small minds, I suppose.
