How many more officers will be cut from Danville P.D. so much for protecting the public.

I assume you are referring to James Crowe, whom you mentioned in another thread as not being re-appointed to the PD.

Last year he earned only $4,181.30 from the town, so for whatever reason he was not out "protecting the public" very much.

That is correct. The following is also public information.

YTD totals according to the last payroll.

Crowe - 16 hours: $ 250.24

LePage – 125 hours: $ 1542.03

Cooper – 410.5 hours: $ 5556.89

I would expect you to dispute the facts. It seems to be your recurring theme.
The facts support the same conclusion that Curt came too. You should listen to him.

It seems clear from the information provided that the amount of work hours that some of part-time officers work is something that could easily be picked up by other part-time officers without impacting coverage. Now if someone working 40 hours a week were not renewed or even some lessor but still large amount of coverager were not renewed there would be some concern about coverage. I see no reason to be concerned in this case though. Are there numbers to counter that feeling?
