Must have been difficult saying that with a straight face.

No it wasn't. Remember Tom that character is doing the right thing when nobody is watching! You should try it.

a. Selectman O’Neil stated that when the minutes of a non-public meeting have not been sealed, those minutes should be forwarded to the town’s website for public review.

b. Selectman Moore reminded Selectman O’Neil that going into non-public is requested for a number of reasons and as such he did not approve of posting the non-sealed non-public minutes on the Internet for the whole world to view. The minutes are available in hardcopy at the town hall to anyone within 72 hours of the meeting.

c. Selectman Luna stated that there was nothing in the RSA’s that said ALL public documents must be available on the Internet only that they be available during posted office hours.

d. Selectman O’Neil stated that they should be on line.

Selectman O’Neil moved a motion to post on the web non-public minutes that were not sealed so that the public may view them. There was no second. The motion failed.

It looks like Shawn is being selective and only picking lawsuits that he feels that the Town of Danville "won" on!!!!!! What about the Marie Hill case Shawn??? Balony when you say it is to old or to far back to post????

No we are not being selective. This is a new direction for the Board and Town, and these are two cases that have just completed. The documents are easily accessible and could easily be forwarded to the website committee for posting. I support the Marie Hill case being on there as well. This would take some time and effort as some components of that case are still sealed. It will at least allow the residents to see how you selected your legal representation for your case.
I have said this before and I will state it again, if you can walk into the Town hall and obtain some type of public information then it should be accessible on the Town website (that being the goal). The issue being logistic and the bandwidth necessary for such an effort. The Town is moving this way and I welcome it. Tax information for all properties will be on-line shortly through the Tax Kiosk. You will be able to pay you taxes and see what your neighbor is paying as well. You can even look up my house as well as someone thought the Board got a great deal on their taxes.

Mr. Oneil, when all was said and done what did it "COST" the Town of Danville to take Officer St. Orge to court?

The Town's posting of this information made the noon time WOKQ news broadcast today.
