Waste Management Schedule

Postby SBinRockrimmon » Tue Jul 05, 2011 6:39 am

On the town website the WM calendar ends with June 2011. I would think the new schedule would be out prior to the old one expiring. Any idea when the new one will be out? I guess the trash goes out now, if it it's gone when I get home, great, if not it says until tomorrow.

I had the same results when looking on the website. I sent an e-mail to the selectman. The response I got was they were still working on it and when it was completed it would be posted.

It is so nice to see that the town is still working on the issue of posting the schedule!
I had to call Waste Management today to ask about the next bulky item day and it is this weekend, July 16th.
A little bit of notice would have been nice. The Town Hall has not even posted it on their board beside the street yet????
Once again another example of the Town of Danville not getting it's act together!!!

It has been on the front sign for 3+ weeks. I think a visit to the optometrist is highly recommended.

It has also been posted on the front page of the Town web site in the calendar for some time.

I need my eyes checked too as I drive Main Street every day and missed it as well. WM left a bunch of broken glass in the middle of the road after recycling this week. Called that night and they cleaned up yesterday afternoon. When are the recycle bins being dropped off?

My wife tends to drive past without paying attention to the sign too. I did notice it posted a couple weeks ago.

I agree that the cart for recycles will be nice. This week I had to fight to keep the old milk containers inside the bin.

I talked with Shawn last night and the delay with getting the schedule out is related to the new recycling carts. They were working out the details of the flyer and wanted it to go with the new schedule. I would expect to see something out very soon.

I too can't wait for the new carts, sometimes it is like putting a puzzle together trying to make everything fit in the cart I use now.
