CLOTHING DONATIONS NEEDED

Postby momof3 » Sun Jun 02, 2013 10:14 am

Local foster mom is in need of clothing for a 10 year old boy (pants - 29x30 and men's medium shirts) 12 year old boy (pants 32x30, shirts men's large) 2 year old girl wearing a 4T and she needs everything, bathing suit, shorts, short sleeve shirts, pajamas, etc.

These children were pulled out of a horrible situation with literally only the clothes on their backs. DCYF only authorized a $50.00 voucher for each child which was spent on sneakers.

You can leave with Kim at the town hall or contact me via this site. Thanks in advance for your support

Someone told me about this free clothing ministry...the following is their facebook description. Call for more info...I was told that they are open more that for just their community days.

Renew is a ministry designed to fill the apparel needs of the community around Calvary Bible Church. Clothing is available free of charge. 145 Hampstead Road, Derry 603.434.1516

Description

Renew provides free, gently-used clothing in an clean, organized fashion to the community. We do this by opening our doors roughly every 6 weeks for "All Community Day", when families from all around are invited to come "shop" for their own needs or others they know in need. We do not restrict this to any income level, although we do wish to especially help those in need or on a budget. You do not need to be Derry resident to shop at Renew. We do not receive cash donations in return for our clothing, and we do not ask any obligation of those who attend our "All Community Days". We accept bags of clean, modern, gently-used clothing donations at our donations bin, which is just outside our steps. For questions, please comment here or email renewclothing(at)yahoo(dot)com.

OMG, thanks to all who donated clothing. The little two year old now has plenty of beautiful sets for her to chose from.
The older boys were so excited. Thanks again everyone!!!
