How does that translate into a lack of honesty and integrity? The agendas are always posted outside Town Hall on the board and I believe at the post office. Possibly the slowness of getting them on the website is do to the availability of the web committee, which has 1 open spot if you want to volunteer.

I work 6 days a week ,am not very computer literate. have noticed that the website for the town used to be faster. Why should we have to drive to the town hall or post office to read something that should be on the web in a timely manner. since at least one of the selectmen is on the website committee, what is the reason for not being as timely as previously? thought the site was to improve communication.

An agenda is not a requirement for a meeting. Posting of the meeting is the only requirement. As John indicated, the website committee is the entity that posts these type of documents. They attempt to do this in a timely matter but it is all done with volunteer time. I would appreciate it if you didn't marginalize their contributions to our Town.

The web committee has done a great job over the years. I had to drop off it and most town stuff because of other commitments in my life. I'm sure they would be willing to take on more volunteers and you don't have to be a website expert or anything.

I think that if you are that concerned, you should care enough to get in your car and stop by. Otherwise join the committee instead of complaining. They are a group of volunteers who might just work as much and still take time out of their day (you know-without getting paid) to put stuff up there. Humph.
