Is this crazy or what?

If parents don't like it don't let their kids take part and don't go see the show. Let's grow up people.

Here is an interesting site set up by a parent, after a students face book page on the topic was forced to shut down.

There were reportedly or allegedly, inappropriate postings on the student's page and the administration demanded it be taken done.

I'd be interested in hearing more about how a student's FB site was shut down. Did FB close it for violations of terms of service or did administration put pressure on an individual to shut it down?

The PAC rules as usual. The meeting on the censorship is important. However, the previously scheduled Sports meetings in the Cafeteria and the spring team coach meetings (for this springs teams 2014) that were to take place have been canceled due to the Sweeney Todd meeting for the 2015 play. One would think the theatre meetings would be in the PAC versus impacting other activities?

The PAC was booked out to Pollard Elementary for a lip sync contest.

Any reports on how the meeting went?

So, as I said the PAC takes precedent over other events, and the previously scheduled sports meetings were cancelled. The newly scheduled meeting was about theatre activities at the PAC in 2015. Why cancel sports meeting affecting hundreds of student athletes and their parents? The meeting for sports was mandatory for athletes that did not play fall sports.

They should have changed the location, cancel the PAC event, or change date for the theater meeting!

I wonder if the fact that this issue is in the news had something to do with the priority settings? It's the topic of the day on WZID's Facebook (and I assume on-air).

Probably, but sports this year has started, the play is for 2015. Not a biggy.

So what's the end result of the meeting? I thought a decision was supposed to be announced by last Friday.

I found this....

Typical that all the news "reporters" drop the story rather that report the resolution.
