Wow. I came to Boston in 1966 as an MIT undergrad. At the time, WBCN was a classical radio station. They started playing "underground music" starting at midnight. At that time they were the only source for non pop 40's rock. This is truly a passing. The really sad thing is the homogenization of radio stations. I hope the River (92.5) hangs on...

Grew up with Charles Laquidara, Dwayne Ingals Glasscock and Mark Parenteau, they got me through Northeastern and my many part time jobs to get through school.
